4Great pre-toddler developmental toySep 07, 2010
This was a fantastic developmental toy once my son was able to sit up. During this time, he would sit up and watch the ball spiral down the ramp. It then turned into a great pull-up station. Admittedly, at times I was worried that it wasn't sturdy enough and he took a few small spills. Still, it was probably one of the most used toys during that period. Then, it became a great cruising station, moving from animal to animal, he had a blast learning to walk with the help of this toy. These days, it's just a neglected toy and occasionally a place for him to stuff things into the hippo but some great memories came out of it.

2Wouldn't buy itAug 24, 2010
We own just about every fisher price toy and this was a present for my daughter's upcoming birthday. I didn't like it in the store and I certainly didn't like it in my house. For one thing it's huge- takes up a lot of room. It was easy to put together which was a plus. It's just not that entertaining for a one year old. The hippo doesn't do anything- you put the balls inside and that's it. The Elephant as soon as you put the ball in it shoots out so quickly it doesn't give the child a chance to see where it came from. It's just an OK toy, I would recommend the Laugh and Learn house if you are going to spend this kind of money and if you are looking for that one toy that will last.

5Best for a younger baby!Jul 23, 2010
I absolutely LOVE this toy! My son got this for his 1st birthday. We thought it would be perfect! Unfortunately, because he was a little older, it wasn't THAT interesting to him. He picked up how everything worked almost instantly and plays with the balls more than the toy itself.. which isn't that surprising. I think this would be great for a smaller baby, but not so great for an older one. I still loved this toy all the same. It's absolutely adorable and I wish we'd gotten it earlier!!! I would highly suggest this to someone with a 8 or 9 month old or so child.

5THIS TOY IS AWESOME!Jun 29, 2010
My 11 month old son got this as a gift from his older sister for Christmas and although I just got around to putting it together a few weeks ago, he absolutely loves it! He stands up and walks around it, loves to smack the ball and gator and drop the balls down the track to activate the music, and now he has even figured out how to crawl through it. Everything on this toy catches his interest from time to time and it is very sturdy so if your toddler is very curious like mine, I would definitely recommend this toy........if you don't mind the high dollar investment!

2Not worth the money!Mar 31, 2010
Got this from the grandparents for younger son for Christmas a year and half ago--it has almost NEVER been played w/by our 2 boys (now ages 4 and 19 mos) or any other child that's visited our home. We have had or played w/other similar toys by Fisher Price that were a big hit, but whoever is designing the latest ones is really missing the mark. It only has one place for the balls to be rolled down (one spiral in the middle) and the monkey part is useless and too difficult for the little ones to get the ball on and tip it over. Yes, they can put balls in the elephant and see them come out the bottom or store them in the hippo and spin it around, but it's not *that* interesting--nowhere near as much fun as the older ones that were more like a ball track w/lots of places for the ball to roll through. So, this toy loses much of it's educational value for this. The other small toys on it are kind of flimsy and don't offer a lot of different ways to be manipulated (and therefore played with). I think it's a total waste of $65, and an even bigger waste if you buy it here on Amazon for $83.99! For that amount, you could purchase 2 really well made wooden ball tracks! I'm so disappointed in Fisher Price these days--many of the newer toys we've gotten lately have been a waste or broken from the strart. Skip this one!
