Great ToyFeb 22, 2010 This toy my daughter loves and it adds onto her play set! It was sad it was cheeper to send the USA and can not be sent to Canada! My little one still plays with it and loves the little dog!
doll house for lasting funJan 27, 2010 We ordered this Fisher-Price doll house from Amazon after a similar doll house came to our church nursery as a donation. Our granddaughters LOVED it! It was really hard to drag them out of the nursery when it was time to go, they were so absorbed in the activity. Unfortunately they 'don't make them anymore' but we found one at Amazon that had never been out of the box. Minimal furnishings, but our granddaughters are at an age where that doesn't seem important. The bathroom would appear to be the most fascinating collection of "furniture" in the house. The 4 year old carries on nearly unintelligible dialogues with the dolls. Couldn't resist buying a few additional matching pieces, the "grandma" (how come no grandpa is available?),and mom-dad-baby in African-American and WASP designs. Also how come no cat? There's a dog available but the kids have cats, not dogs at home. It seems to be an enduring item for play, not just sudden interest and then neglect. It sits on the raised hearth in the living room (no fire in the fireplace)more or less permanently.
Dollhouse roomApr 19, 2009 After buying the dollhouse for my 2-year-old granddaughter for Christmas, I began buying extra rooms. Some of them were hard to find, but all really cute and easy for little fingers. She plays by herself for long periods of time with the dollhouse and loves all of the little extras in the rooms.
Hours of fun!Aug 14, 2008 My daughter loves her doll house and all the furniture was a blessing. Hours and hours of fun here!
Great, so long as the price is rightApr 12, 2008 The My First Dollhouse TV Room is a great product for toddlers. I have two daughters, 4 and 2, who play with this set almost everyday along with a couple of others I've recently purchased. All the parts are large enough not to swallow, and are cast with quite thick plastic--not bendable even on the legs of chairs and table. I might add that several non amazon toy sellers are selling these things for over $14.00, which is quite a rip-off, considering the retail price for these. I purchased this through amazon for about $8.00. These may be out of circulation, so perhaps that explains the higher prices. I definitely recommend them, so long as they don't cost a fortune.
