Great cheap alternative to a expensive clone trooper helmetJul 31, 2010 The clone trooper voice changer helmet is a very cool piece to own. Though it was marketed towards kids, adults can wear the helmet to bring out the inner kid in them. It's a bit of a hassel to put it together at first and when you need to put more batteries in it, its kind of hard to get take it apart to get the battery compartment. But after all that, its a fun toy to play with. The reason I got was so that I could customize it. I also made it look more like the ones from the cartoons. the visor on it though could've used a bit more peripheral vision on it. You can only see what's in front of you. When you go down stairs you have to almost take the helmet off to see where your going. But the features aren't that bad, there's two commands buttons on the side, and a voice button with "radio chatter" that you can talk through, but the mic is a bit lower that I would like. Overall a good role-play item to get your kid for christmas or birthday. And for you older Star Wars fans, it's a great helmet to customize with.
Voice Changer a DisappointmentJun 30, 2010 My son (10 yr) was so excited to get this toy - he spent his own money for it. But was very disappointed when the microphone wouldn't change his voice. The microphone was too far from his mouth and when we adjusted the helmet for the microphone, then he couldn't see out of the eyes. My son is on the small size - so unless your child has a larger head this toy won't be a pleaser!!
Awesome!Apr 18, 2010 Ever want the biggest grin on a Star Wars kid - get him this! I think he even wore the helmet to bed:)

Put My Nephew in Star Wars HeavenMar 18, 2010 This helmet is from the Star Wars series and it looks like the ones in the movie. little boys love this thing! It also changes their voice to make them sound like a Clone Trooper. It can be bought with or without the blaster gun.
I bought this for my nephew and he loves it! He's way into star wars and this helmet just about completes his collection. This is for any boy who loves star wars. It's the perfect gift!
Clone CopMar 01, 2010 Satisfied with the intake of breath when the Birthday guests wanted to try it on one by one. A year later, it has been the center of a great Halloween Costume, the inspiration for purchasing laser tag guns and launched a 2nd generation Star Wars Fan. The helmet holds a place of honor in the room of my 10 year old grandson who now has viewed all the original Star War videos. It took Daddy a few minutes to put it together, but it has held up perfectly.
