Poorly designed, cheap plastic, breaks...stinks!Aug 29, 2010 Mudflap is built with flimsy plastic parts that fall off easily and break. The transformation was ridiculously confusing--I honestly sat with the directions for 30 minutes trying to make it work (and I am mechanically inclined with these things). Once I did, like everyone said, it doesn't stand up, then getting it back into the car is not worth the time. The doors fall of and are cheap. I have never had this bad of luck with transformers (except with the blue fire-engine one, which also broke too easily); it has made me weary of buying them again, and I didn't pay 2.50 for it...it was closer to eleven I think....don't buy it!
Not quite as awesome as I remember.Aug 22, 2010 I guess some things just arent as good the second time around. I loved the original transformer toys. I was excited to introduce my son to a bit of my childhood but was dissapointed that this thing was so dificult to transform and then when it was transformed was so unstable it was pretty much unusable. I guess if you are some sort of transformers fanboy and want to have this sitting by your computer next to the spawn figurines this is for you, otherwise this wasnt worth the clearance price I paid 0f 2.50 let alone full price.
Does not transform well or standJan 06, 2010 Overall this is a bad design. The transformer won't stand when transformed and it is very difficult to get back in it car configuration correctly. It is definitely not for a 5 year old. I would say 8 minimum.
Total junk, broke the first day.Dec 09, 2009 I bought this for my 5 year old son. He loves Transformers, so I was very excited to receive it. When it came, I was so disappointed. He couldn't work it at all. It is very hard to make it "transform." My 8 year old daughter couldn't do it very well, either. They asked me for help. I tried to move it and it broke. I put it back together and tried another place - also broke. In my opinion, this toy is junk.

Mudflap is cute, durable, but Skidz makes for an easier transformation and more posable stanceOct 23, 2009 I was wondering why poor Mudflap was in stores more than his brother Skidz - got Mudflap on sale at Walmart for cheap, bless his heart...anyway, when I got the lil Autobot home, transformed him, and tossed the directions (the pictures never help, ever). Anyway, he looks like the picture, but because the twins are so top heavy (their backs), Mudflap tends to fall over when you stand him up. And because he transforms differently than Skidz, he's not as sturdy. But I want them both together, so he ended up sitting down, while Skidz is standing up lol. It's no biggie, love the Autobots, and love Mudflap too. All and all, if you're getting it for your little one, and he doesn't mind it not standing too much, it's fine. But if you're a collector, you better get him just right when he's standing, otherwhise he'll topple over!
